I worked at a summer camp a few years ago and we had some unhappy campers who had a bit of a hard time. I wrote this for them as well as for myself. I was really dysphoric and depressed back then and dipped into a bit of self harm and suicidal thoughts. This song was kind of just a reminder to keep my chin up.
